Please, give a talk about public holidays in Russia. Remember to say:

Well, from public holidays of Russia I precisely remember the International Women's Day, a Defender of the Fatherland Day, the holiday of spring and labor, a Russia Day, National Unity Day and New Year. Most of all I like New Year. Salekhard in this time lit with Christmas lights, the streets empty, the air crackles with frost, and sparkling under my feet the snow crunches. From the Windows of the house pours light and music, the scents of mandarins, pineapples and champagne. And at midnight the sky is lit, shimmering, like a Royal diadem, emeralds, sapphires, rubies, and topazes. It's the fireworks dispersed the darkness of the night.

There are a lot of Holidays which are celebrated Russia. For example,Women's Day, May Day, Men's Day. And of course, there are many national holidays in Russia: Maslenitsa, Day of Astronautics, Russia Day and so on.

Most of all i like New Year's Day. I love New Year's Eve turmoil. I love time when all people in the our town begin to decorate their houses, schools, shops, trees. I love this New Year's mood, cooking of salads, salute behind the window, New Year tree, movie "Home Alone" and "The Irony of Fate or, Enjoy Your Bath!" on TV. I love when people on the square begin to count time until new year. I love when everybody shout "HAPPY NEW YEAR". I love this so much.

Every country has customs and traditions. Russian people love holidays. Public holidays in Russia include include Constitution Day, New Year's Day, the International Women's Day, May Day, Victory Day. During these holidays, people do not work. They spend time with their families and friends.
As for me, New Year's Day is the major holiday in Russia. And I really like this holiday, because New year is the holiday when we want to believe in miracles. For me it is really magical holiday. The whole city, the whole country shimmer in the lights, the family make dinner, and children believe that Father Frost brings presents.
We decorate a New Year tree, make parties. The main New Year tree of the country is put up in Red Square in Moscow.

There are a lot of holidays in Russia - national and international . The most widespread are considered holidays New Year, Christmas, Defender of the Fatherland Day, International Women's Day, Victory Day , Independence Day, Day of National Unity. In addition to these holidays are many holidays celebrated people in certain professions, such as the Navy Day, Teachers' Day, the day of accountants. Or like the Children's Day and April Fool's Day .
Мy favorite holiday is New Year, because it brings people together, it is celebrated all the world, regardless of religion, nationality or political opinion.
Аnd because the New Year holidays are declared for all - almost all people have a rest, have fun, they talk to each other, do things that did not have time in daily life .
In all the cities of the world people are launching fireworks, arrange mass celebrations, organized New Year parties for children and adults, all present sweet gifts. This happens in any city on earth and my city is no exception.

Russia love celebrate holidays too much, such as New year, Maslenitsa, Ninth of may, Easter e.t.c. My favorite holiday are a New year, the whole family is connected and happy in this day. In this day we launch fireworks, and sing in karaoke. In salekhard people celebrate New year very cool! In the center of city they made the town from ice, and it is pretty awesome. I like this holiday pretty much, because this is start of a new life.
