ТЕМА: Books.

Please, give a talk about books. Remember to say:
whether reading is still popular with teenagers, and why, or why not;
what kind of books you like reading;
why many people prefer e-books to paper books.

Books appeared long ago. Yet in the 14 century.
Nowadays the book reading among teenagers is not very popular, as well as many young people prefer watching TV , then read the boos.
I prefer reading fiction books. This books are most popular. And consist of short stories and novels. Their interesting read.
Today television and the Internet have almost replace books. Therefore, people use the e-books, so as is very convenient way. You just take the reader and upload text files into it and read.
It is impossible to live without reading.

I believe that it is a lie that teenagers don't like to read. In my class a lot of students who love to read. Someone reads classic literature , someone like science fiction , someone likes to read comic books . I like to read only classic literature, because you can find a lot of right thoughts for yourself, back in the era of writers .In the modern world e-books is a very popular . But I think this is a very stupid idea. When you read the e-book is your eyesight deteriorates faster. Also the e-book cannot be called a book, because you can't scroll, you can't feel the smell of real books. Atmosphere reading is changing, there is a feeling that you're reading at the computer

I think that we live in the time when reading books is not interesting business for teenagers. There are a lot of things that can replace reading books. For example, computer games, Internet and so on. Despite all this, there are a lot of people in my class who like to read.
I like to read, but i don't like classic literature and our school program. I really like to read some horror and detective stories or satirical and comedy books. Most of all i like novels of Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen Fry, Stephen King and Howard Lovecraft. My favouritу books are "The Call of Cthulhu" by Howard Lovecraft, "The Man That Was Used Up" and "The Premature Burial" by Edgar Poe.
I think a lot of people prefer e-books to paper books because of convenience and practicality of it. But i prefer paper books because I like to hear the sound of printed paper, smell of it, i like that feeling of seeing your progress and so on.

Nowadays reading is not so popular because a lot of people have replaced reading books on watching films , serials ,using the internet and soon. Young people don’t want to read books too. Also they think that it is not interesting and boring .As for me I like to read books. My favourite kind of book is fantastic stories because this books have bright scene and magic. Many people prefer to read e-books because it is gadget which has a lot of books in electronic form. These books you can find in the internet and they are absolutely free. But I like to read paper books because when you read this book, your eyes do not get tired. In conclusion I want to say that reading books develops people

The USSR was the most reading country all over the world. Now it's not actual. Reading isn't so popular with teenagers as it was. Maybe because of not interesting school programme. There are not too much teenagers who loves reading classical literature. But if they find their genre or type, may be, it'll be more exciting. As for me, I prefer fantasy books with a good story, fascinating characters and beautiful descriptions. Something that will cut to the quick and touch a nerves. The Chronicles of Amber, for example. Many people prefer e-books to paper books because of different conveniences such as their weight and availability. You can take all of your e-books anywhere you want. Also, you don't need to buy every book. You just can find a special site and download it.
